I have received my soaring elephant charm just in time for it to sit under the Christmas tree. I was a little nervous since I had not ordered with a company before. Communication was easy and friendly. German customs picked out my package but this issue was resolved smoothly. Packaging was very well. The box the elephant came in is very beautiful. It came with an outer box which could also be used for the surprise box. Everything, even the maintenance card, is such high quality. About the elephant itself: I couldn’t be more happy!! it is so adorable, beautiful and looks and feels high-quality, too! I took it to my local Hermes store on a Kelly for its first time out and even my ever so critical SA adored it! Well, she didn’t have a real choice with me sitting there, beaming over it and telling her how happy I was with it! (in particular since Hermes has discontinued Cadenas, well, at least the classic ones.) The size and weight seems equal to the Hermes Cadenas. So it looks like a natural fit on Hermes bags. I thought the closure was like the former Cadenas from Hermes with the screw system. But that was my mistake. It has a different closure but so far it looks very sturdy. Overall, a five star experience. I am planning on a bolide on wheels next.
